Meet Ryan Kinsey

I’ve dedicated my lengthy, distinguished career to helping people and advancing the greater good through efforts in government service, financial crime and counter-terrorist investigations, and now family law & domestic relations. I’m a skilled attorney, compassionate mediator, and I’ve guided countless families through difficult situations including divorce, child custody, and modifications of existing orders.

I graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology (“Georgia Tech”), one of the ten best public schools in the Country, earning degrees in Business Management and History, Technology & Society. I went on to graduate from the Florida State University College of Law, a top-35 law school. While at FSU, I worked as a Certified Legal Intern at FSU’s Public Interest Law Center & Children’s Advocacy Clinics, providing legal services to underrepresented individuals and victims of domestic violence. I spent a semester studying at the University of Oxford, housed at St. Edmund’s Hall, focusing on emerging human rights issues.

I began my career in “Big Law” at the flagship office of a multinational firm in the town I spent my childhood in, Atlanta, Georgia. My practice represented corporate clients in the midst of crisis investigations and litigation, including operating onsite at a Fortune 10 corporate headquarters during Congressional Hearings, investigating a Swiss financial services firm for ongoing use of “numbered” accounts, and an internal investigation of a multi-national pharmaceutical sales force for violations of antikickback legislation.

I spent several years managing teams combatting financial crime with a Denver-based risk and compliance consulting firm prior to serving the people of Colorado as an Assistant Attorney General in the Opioid Unit, securing hundreds of millions of dollars from opioid manufacturers and distributors to aid in recovery efforts. I transitioned into domestic relations matters bringing my practice full-circle back to the family-focused representation I began in law school.

Meet Maverick

Originally wrangled in the back alleys of Juarez, Mexico, office morale manager “Maverito” attacks treats and meals with the fervor and tenacity developed during his life on the streets.

Although not a legal scholar Mav will happily join any call or meeting to provide moral support and having quickly acclimated to his new surroundings, will happily snooze throughout the proceeding.
